 We were thrilled when we discovered that a friend was becoming the sole distributor of Qualy, an award-winning Thai lifestyle brand we love. We became even more psyched when she asked us to design the flagship store in Malaysia. In keeping with the brand’s naturalistic identity, we kept the design deliberately raw and unfinished, using compacted wood material (OSB board) and acrylic to craft the interior. We also built a custom modular shelving system, with L-shaped display blocks that hold merchandise up to different levels according to their size.
