The signature brick face is composed of a few different kinds of brick, most prominent of all the decor brick. Burned at a higher temperature than usual, decor brick is much stronger than its counterparts and has a more consistent color, which gave us a more controlled facade overall. It also has different types of ventilation built into it, resulting in an airier home. As we mentioned before, the owner is also a proud mom of 30 cats. We needed to accommodate her furbabies, so we built a skyline walkway and sectioned off part of the roof, just for them. Finally, we included a three-story courtyard at the center of the house to expose its interior to natural light.
