Zapeus is a workspace located at Subang Jaya. Originally a four-person company, this young marketing start-up was growing exponentially within a short amount of time. They outgrew the space we designed for them, so we ended up having to create a new one for them within a year. Aside from needing the room to grow, Zapeus also wanted an office that reflected their values and aesthetic, which are anti-corporate and urban respectively. They hoped that such a specially-designed workspace would attract the right talent to their ranks. As renegades ourselves, we admired their unconventional spirit and youthful zeal. So we took many ideas that we’d wanted to use for Beyondto.co, but didn’t manage to, and repurposed them for these rebels with a cause.
